Founded in 2020, Movement Online Fitness & Bootcamps provide inclusive, supportive, and sustainable fitness solutions in North Canterbury, New Zealand as well as wherever you are online.
You might notice things are a little different around here! Contrary to popular belief, we will tell you that carbs are cool, resting is rad and that your health and your worth can never be determined by a number, size or shape!

I first started at Movement in September 2023 when I was 5 months postpartum with my 6th child.
At the time I didn't enjoy exercising but saw it as a necessary evil if I wanted to like my body again.
When I think back now it almost seems unbelievable to me that I felt that way and had a negative mindset about exercise.
Most days you will find me at bootcamp. It's my stable routine in a crazy busy life and I leave each session having been challenged, empowered, and of vital importance to me, is having laughed about some hilarious anecdote someone has shared during the session.
One of the things that struck me within my first few sessions of bootcamp is that it is more than an exercise class, Amelia's genuine warmth inspires everyone to encourage, commiserate and celebrate together.
I have learned to love the challenges of pushing myself beyond my comfort zone and the success that comes when I have persevered. I love that my mental health is so much stronger as well as my physical health.

"I’ve been regularly exercising since I was 15 usually at the gym or running. After having a baby I started doing online work outs which I enjoyed but missed the interaction with other people. I liked how Amelia’s work outs were outside and I could bring my daughter with me, she even joins in too sometimes. I also like how Amelia focuses on how exercise makes you feel not how you look, she is really motivating and everyone is really friendly and we always have a good laugh. I feel much stronger since I started boot camp and it always sets me up for the day. I'm Amelia - Owner of Movement, certified Fitness Coach, Personal Trainer, Boxing for Fitness instructor, Pre/post natal coach and firm believer in helping you achieve life changing results without giving up the things you love in life - like socialising with your loved ones and enjoying your favourite foods!🍫🍟
I'm a born and bred kiwi gal who calls North Canterbury, New Zealand home. I live here with my husband, our son Ollie and our fur baby, Willow. We also have a little brother for Ollie due Aug 2025!
I'm the trainer I wish I'd had when I started my own fitness journey. I will tell you that carbs are cool, resting is rad and that your health and your worth can never be determined by a number, size or shape✌️The ups and downs I've faced reaching fitness goals and my journey returning to exercise after having Ollie are the main reason Movement exists - I totally get what a struggle achieving the results you so desperately want can be and the juggle that is trying to look after you own health & fitness while balancing life - especially when you have little ones in tow!

Nicolene
My name is Nicolene, I am (almost) 35 and I’m a qualified Personal Trainer and a Pre & Postnatal Exercise Coach. I’m also a mom to a very busy 2.5-year-old girl, so I truly understand the challenges (and joys!) of balancing movement, motherhood, and self-care.
I’ve been part of the Movement Online family for almost a year now, and I have absolutely loved being part of this beautiful community.
After spending 12 years in Marketing and Event Management, I made the leap to follow my true passion—helping women feel strong, confident, and connected to their most authentic selves. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
For me, true wellness isn’t just about physical strength—it’s about balancing the body and mind so you can feel and see the best version of YOU. Having experienced my own postpartum exercise and mental struggles, I know how important it is to create a safe and supportive space where women feel like they belong.
I’m currently in the process of completing my “Women’s Coaching Specialist” certification to deepen my ability to serve and support you all even better and I am truly excited about the knowledge I will gain from this one.
